The key to my style of yoga classes is to be restful and restorative. If you are coming to this course as someone with chronic health conditions, please always listen carefully to your body and go at your own pace. Absolutely no 'pushing through'! This is of paramount importance if your range of symptoms include Post-Exertional Malaise (PEM) wth chronic fatigue. Ideally, you want to be pacing well enough to significantly limit, then eventually stop experiencing, PEM episodes. That is the key to recovery. The aim of this programme is to be very ‘low in spoons’ for those spoonies amongst you, and I’ve tried where possible to mark the classes as ranging from 1 - 3 in terms of energy envelope or ‘spoons’ required.

As always, listen to your body and only practice movement and stretching if you are able to on any particular day. Effective pacing and stabilization of symptoms are highly recommended before taking part in this class. If anything does not feel right in your body, please always stop immediately.
